Core Minerals Management II LLC acquired 50% of the minerals rights appurtenant to the Hulman Reef in Terre Haute, IN, adding to Core’s Working Interest in the Reef. Core was responsible for the identification, leasing and planning of the Reef prospect in 2010. The discovery well was drilled in February of 2011 and reported Initial Production of 89 barrels of oil per hour. The Reef has produced in excess of 1.5 million barrels of oil to date.
Trive Capital in partnership with Core Minerals III, LLC has acquired substantially all of the assets of Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s Southern Appalachian Division. The assets include approximately 1.3 million net acres of conventional gas production and developmental acreage in Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia, a gathering system and associated midstream facilities. The assets also produce over 83 MMcfe/d through a system supported by over 4,000 miles of pipeline.
Core Minerals purchased from Ellery Investments, LLC , a majority working interest and operations in the Ellery Unit located in Edwards and Wayne Counties, Illinois. The field is comprised of approximately 1,100 acres producing from 21 wells. As part of the transaction, Core Minerals will begin an extensive redevelopment plan in cooperation with Ellery Investments, LLC, which shall include drilling new exploratory wells and instituting a comprehensive waterflood operation.
Core Minerals added to its Illinois Basin production base by purchasing 53 wells from Whitney Oil Company. These producing wells are located in IN, KY, and IL and presents a good opportunity to increase production from the wells by applying Core's operational efficiencies.
Core Minerals acquired a significant oil and gas lease for approximately 5,300 acres located in Indiana. The acquisition of the lease will provide Core Minerals a platform to expand its exploration efforts into a significantly underexplored part of Indiana.

Core Minerals closed an acquisition from Illinois Oil, LLC on two producing oil and gas leases and five producing oil wells and one active injection well located in Clay and Marion Counties, Illinois. Illinois Oil, LLC and other partners will retain minority interests in the projects with Core Minerals going forward.
Core Minerals announces its closing of a joint venture to develop the Roland Unit Area II located in White County, Illinois. In connection with the transaction, Core Minerals will become operator of the Prospect, including assuming control of the Unit and 64 wells. Core will continue the development of the Prospect with the current owners, Pabeti, Inc. and Brookston Resources, Inc.

Core Minerals purchased oil and gas leases from Jordan Oil Co., Inc., producing approximately 64 gross barrels of oil per day, located throughout Crawford, Edwards, and Wabash Counties, Illinois; Daviess and Henderson Counties, Kentucky; and Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Pike, Spencer, and Vanderburgh Counties, Indiana.
