Bryan Dicus Joins Core Minerals Team

Core Minerals Operating Co., Inc of Evansville, Indiana announced today that Bryan Dicus has joined the Company’s Management Team as Senior Vice President of Exploration and Production. Dicus is a Petroleum Engineer with over 25 years of progressive technical and management experience in the oil & gas industry. Throughout his career Dicus has had experience covering a variety of aspects in drilling, completions and production of both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.

Prior to joining Core Minerals, Dicus worked for Noble Energy, Inc. and predecessors Patina Oil & Gas, Elysium Energy LLC and Equinox Oil Company for a combined 17 years beginning as a Production Engineer and later serving as Operations Manager for the Illinois Basin Business Unit. Dicus finished his service with Noble Energy as Project Engineer Advisor in Noble’s International Engineering Services group. Dicus began his professional career with Mobil Oil Corporation spending 7 years involved in many Mid-Continent oil & gas properties where he specialized in hydraulic fracturing, waterflood optimization, profile modification and completion technology.

Dicus obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He currently serves on the Executive Board for the Illinois Oil & Gas Association and previously spent 7 years on the Illinois Petroleum Resource Board. Dicus was named 2004 IOGA Petroleum Professional of the Year and led Elysium Energy to a Wildcatter of the Year award in 2004.

As Senior Vice President of Exploration and Production, Dicus will have overall responsibility for Core Minerals oil and gas resource base in the Illinois basin and is also involved in the evaluation of potential acquisitions and other opportunities outside of the Illinois basin and the continental United States.
