Kenny Goebel

Kenny Goebel, Vice President, Field Operations, has over 30 years of oil field production experience in the Illinois Basin in virtually every capacity. Goebel started his oil field career with Crystal Oil Co. of Shreveport, LA and gained experience from the ground up as a pumper, roustabout, and rig hand.

From 1978 through 1991 Goebel served in the capacities of Large Water Injection Plant Operator, Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisor for Ashland Oil Company’s operations in Western Kentucky. From 1991, until the acquisition of the Geigo Company LLP assets by Core Minerals, Goebel served as Production Superintendent and Production Operations Superintendent with primary responsibility for the Geigo field operations.

Among his numerous field experiences, Goebel has drilled out and plugged old wells for Peabody Coal Company to MSHA specifications, as well as other large plugging and reclamation projects. Additionally Goebel has experience with Polymer Flood Projects, is experienced with power swivel operations and is HazMat Certified – Tech Level.
